PRACTICE AREAS
Jim Rees is a partner with Nagle Law Group.  His real estate practice includes negotiating and documenting all facets of the purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and development of commercial real property, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, development agreements, loan documentation, covenants and restrictions, easements, option agreements, including land-banking transactions, and related ancillary documents.

Prior to joining Nagle Law Group in 2005, Mr. Rees was a commercial real estate associate at the law firm of Mohr, Hackett, Pederson, et. al. drafting and negotiating tenant leases and participating in due diligence, closing matters, and contract negotiating and drafting for the firm's homebuilder clients.  Before entering private practice in 1999, Mr. Rees worked in public affairs for a statewide trade association of multi family housing developers, owners, and operators before various municipalities throughout the state and at the Arizona Legislature.   

In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Rees is actively involved in the Men's Arts Council of the Phoenix Art Museum, serving on the group's Board of Directors.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
  • Represent residential and retail developers in all phases of project development.
  • Represent several  regional, and local retailers in connection with their leasing activities throughout the United States.
  • Represent retailers in the sale and acquisition of portions of land within a retail center and the preparation of corresponding purchase and sale agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, development agreements and other ancillary agreements to the acquisition, development, and construction of retail projects.
  • Represent residential developers in all phases of project development.
